Sports Hall Event

Today Oak took part in an exciting afternoon of track and field events at the sports centre. They competed against many other schools and all showed enthusiasm in the events they took part in. All children were very well behaved and it’s was so lovely to see them cheering each other on. Well done Oak.

Willow and Oak swimming update.

In our swimming lesson today, we have been tested on how far we can swim, either on our own or with floats. Well done to everyone as absolutely everyone has made a great improvement.

Birch Gymnastics

Today we have been practising travelling on different equipment in our PE lesson. We were practising jumping, turning, twisting and climbing. We loved using the wall bars!

Here are a few photos of our children in the swimming pool at Astley Cooper school today. One young lady in 4 Willow has worked very hard and although she couldn’t swim last week, has swum today without a float. Well done to everyone

Congratulations to year 3 and 4 football last night, they played very well winning 4-0 and 4-1 against Holtsmere End.
