Year 2 Scootability
Takes place on: 11th February 2026
0n Wednesday 11th March, year 2 children will be participating in 'Scootability' run by the Hertfordshire County Council Active and Safer Travel Team. Each session will run for approximately 45 - 50 minutes on the school playground. The children will be learning about controlling their scooters safely, basic pedestrian skills and sharing space with others. To participate in these sessions each child will need a scooter which must be of the standard two or three wheeled type with a rear wheel brake. V-Flex motion scooters are not permitted. If you are willing to lend your child's scooter to another child, please let the school know in advance of the session taking place. Helmets must be worn during these sessions.
