Relaxation techniques and Batch Bake tasting.

Having made our Batch Bakes in the morning, in the afternoon parents were invited to come and see our relaxation and dance routines in the school hall. This was followed by cool drinks and Batch Bake tasting in our classroom.

A Taste of India

Our assembly on Friday was a brilliant insight to the Country of India. The presentation gave us views of their culture, buildings and family celebrations. Some lucky classes received some tasty treats to try and all the children received a sweet. Many thanks to the Odedaras.

Our topic in Geography is our local history. So we are looking at the geography and land usage around us. For this the children have produced a map of their school.

Christmas Dinner Day.

A great time was had by all on Christmas Dinner day. With a big thank you to the ladies in the kitchen for all their hard work over the year. Even the youngest member wore her festive outfit.

Sponsored walk to Windsor Castle

Reception have been braving the weather and each group have managed to walk two and a half miles (twelve miles in total) we are nearly half way!

Egyptian Day

We have had a wonderful morning learning about the Egyptians. We have been making canopic jars, perfume bowls, soap sculptures, lamp burning, tomb painting, amulet making and mummification. This afternoon is banquet time!
